PAST SIMPLE
* We use the past simple to talk about completed actions.
FORMS:
Affirmative: Subject + verb with -ed + complement.
Negative: Subject + didn't + verb in infinitive + complement.
Questions: (Wh-) Did + subject + verb in infinitive + complement?
> We add to verb -ed to form the past simple, but some verbs are irregular verbs. You only can conjugate if you learn the correct form of the verb in past. (Second column of the list).
SOME IRREGULAR VERBS:
Infinitive Past simple

Arise arose > surgir
Awake awoke > despertar(se)
Be was / were > ser o estar
Beat beat > golpear
Become became > llegar a ser
Begin began > empezar
Bend bent > doblar
Bite bit > morder
Bleed bled > sangrar
